What is the relationship between gentleness and violence?

Bones and All comes to mind. By Luca Guadagino. A movie about love. About eating one another as an act of love.

I guess where my thoughts are tipping towards is that gentleness is not always a form of love and care. That violence is necessary. That love is a form of violence? Interacting with another being is a form of violence? In the sense of disruption?

“and yet?” – not fully in control, hesitation

Sonically, I often find myself layering the softest, sweetest sounds with the fullest bass I can produce. I feel that the combination fulfils both these sounds’ potential.

Does this relate to salt? Does it relate to bellies? to navels? Navels are scars.
