Speak! Speak!

I am still struggling with the spoken word part of the assignment. I went though many trials.

I tried a granddaughter – grandmother conversation; I can’t bring myself to put English words in my grandma’s mouth.

I tried a dream narration – it feels way too personal and I lack the necessary skill to engage the listener.

I tried a poem generator. I tried many actually. I thought the randomness would suit the theme quite well. Turned out too lyrical and it feels foreign. Way too foreign.

I wrote a lot and had little succes.

I picked a new notebook today and wrote a few free thought lines. Lines that I can read naturally.

Spoken word is not easy work. This I learned.

Update: poem generator won the race.
